Tobia snack board maple with walnut
The original “snack boards” made from solid, local natural woods are manufactured in a social workshop for young people in Upper Austria.
The processing is done partly by machine and partly by hand. The walnut side strips are milled and glued by hand onto the maple core. The finished raw parts are then carefully sanded, impregnated with food-grade oil, and dried.
A project that offers young people in difficult life situations the opportunity to gain a foothold in the professional world.
