Francesco Maglia:
Since 1856, umbrellas have been handcrafted at the traditional Milanese company Francesco Maglia. Signore Maglia embodies this commitment to quality, constantly overseeing more than 70 individual steps. From stamping out the metal rings that are mounted at the ends of the umbrella ribs, to crafting the brass "crown," to assembling the sturdy steel frame, everything is meticulously done by hand.

The durable, water-repellent fabrics are woven exclusively for Maglia in Italy, meticulously sewn, and joined with the spokes to create a magnificent canopy. All joints are reinforced with fabric to ensure each parasol retains its natural beauty for a long life.
